About

A Little About Me 🌿 I have always been deeply curious about what shapes our thoughts, emotions, relationships, and the ways we respond to life’s challenges. My journey into psychology and counselling has grown from this curiosity and, more importantly, from a genuine desire to understand people with empathy, openness, and without judgment. I believe that sometimes, having a safe space to talk, reflect, and feel truly heard can be the beginning of meaningful change. This belief continues to shape the way I approach counseling and my work in psychology. My Counseling Background I have completed a **Master’s degree in Psychology and a PG Diploma in Counselling Psychology**, along with professional training in **Psychotherapy, Child Psychology, and Counselling Psychology**. I have also completed a **Fellowship in Counselling Psychology** and continue to develop my knowledge and skills through ongoing learning and professional training. My practical training has provided me with exposure to **clinical settings and psychological practice under supervision**. These experiences have strengthened my understanding of the importance of ethical, compassionate, and evidence-informed psychological practice. My Therapeutic Philosophy I believe counseling begins with creating a **safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space** where individuals feel heard, understood, and accepted. My approach is **person-centred, empathetic, developmentally sensitive, culturally responsive, and evidence-informed**. I believe every person is unique, and their experiences cannot always be understood through a single perspective. I therefore value **individual differences, personal experiences, emotional needs, relationships, developmental background, and cultural context** when understanding a person. For me, counseling is not about giving quick advice or telling someone how to live their life. It is a **collaborative journey of self-understanding, reflection, healing, skill development, and growth**. As I continue to grow as a counseling psychology professional, I remain committed to **continuous learning, ethical practice, supervision, cultural sensitivity, and compassionate psychological support**. 🌱 *Sometimes, being heard without judgment is the first step towards understanding ourselves.*
